Registered Children's Home Manager - Initial 3-month interim contract. Location: West Midlands, full-time. Pay: Up to £450/day Inside IR35 and paid through FCSA Umbrella.
RoleAn exciting opportunity within a Local Authority in the West Midlands for a Registered Children's Home Manager for a 3x bed Home. You will report to the Head of Service for Children's Residential. The key focus of this role is to register the Home with Ofsted and set up compliance.
Responsibilities- To lead and manage the development and shaping of the home, ensuring dynamic plans for the children and young people.
- Ensure the Home is ready for an incoming Ofsted Inspection.
- On-call responsibilities 1 in 3 weeks.
- Safeguarding and promotion of well-being for those who reside within the home.
- Ensuring the home complies with the Quality Standards and Children's Homes Regulations (2015).
- Ensuring that the staff have training and development opportunities to enable them to be fully skilled within their fields and understand what Ofsted "Good" looks like.
- Must have a Level 5 Children's Home Management Qualification.
- Must have been a Registered Manager (with Ofsted) previously.
- Worked as a Registered Manager within the past 3 years ideally.
- Proven track record as Registered Manager in a children's home.
