Location: Sunderland
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 (DOE) + Performance Bonus
Full-time Permanent

We are looking for a Registered Manager to lead a solo placement children's home in Sunderland - a unique opportunity to make deep, lasting impact in a child's life.

What You'll Do:

• Provide leadership and vision in managing a solo occupancy children's home
• Ensure the highest standards of care, safeguarding, and therapeutic support
• Work closely with professionals, families, and local authorities to create a truly child-focused environment
• Drive continuous improvement and regulatory compliance (Ofsted)
• Lead, develop, and inspire a dedicated care team

What We're Looking For:

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (Children & Young People Residential Services)
• Proven experience in managing or deputising in a residential children's care setting
• Strong knowledge of relevant legislation (Children's Homes Regs, Quality Standards, Safeguarding)
• A resilient, empathetic, and proactive approach
• Commitment to trauma-informed care and positive behaviour support
