Registered Children's Home Manager

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Children's Home Manager to oversee the operations of our residential facility in Derby. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and support to the children and young people in our home, promoting their well-being and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the children's home, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to staff, fostering a positive and nurturing environment.
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of each child.
- Ensure effective safeguarding policies and procedures are in place and adhered to.
- Monitor and review the performance of the home, identifying areas for improvement.
- Liaise with external agencies and stakeholders to ensure coordinated care and support.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (required).
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (desired or willing to work towards).
- Proven experience in a similar role within a children's residential setting.
- Strong knowledge of child protection and safeguarding procedures.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
