Position: The HSSE Manager provides facility and field operational Health, Safety, Security and Environmental leadership and support within the assigned region of EAME.The position will assist in the development and implementation of HSSE policies and procedures, thus contributing to employee welfare and company performance by eliminating or reducing risk exposure, in alignment with core objectives. Nature and Scope: The incumbent reports to the Managing Director and works closely with HSSE personnel based within the EAME region and globally. Acts as the primary HSSE focal point within the assigned region to support the regional service manager, district service and facility managers, medical, sales, and support personnel. liaises with corporate HSSE professionals to coordinate and implement HSSE programs.International and domestic travel is necessary on a regular basis. Must demonstrate a high level of sensitivity and good business judgment. Must be comfortable working within a highly interactive team environment with the ability to manage multiple project priorities and deadlines. Must be available to respond effectively to emergency situations and / or security threats. Accountabilities: Provide day-to-day management of HSSE related matters within the region Provide expert HSSE strategy and advise management Advise management on HSSE work agenda priorities Evaluate current HSSE related policies and procedures and provide recommendations for improvement Monitor and advise management on regional security developments Monitor and provide guidance ensuring compliance on travel safety and security Coordinate the region's crisis management team Maintain and review HSSE legal register for assigned region Contractor management Identifying employee critical skills necessary to meet competency standards Implement and provide HSSE training coaching to employees as required Provide support for HSSE program initiatives Provide primary support in incident investigations Report to management on HSSE performance Conduct internal HSSE audits as required Travel to other Solar locations within the region as required to conduct training, assessments Travel to customer sites and conduct site surveys and assessments Develop HSSE plans for customer locations and sites Review customer HSSE programs Qualifications and Experience: The position requires excellent knowledge of local and state safety-related laws, regulations and ASNZ Standards. At least 5 years' experience in Oil & Gas and Power Generation industries Master's degree in a Health, Safety, Security and Environment related discipline. Nebosh Diploma (other equivalent) in Health and Safety related discipline Crisis and emergency management experience and relevant related qualification Security management experience and relevant related qualification Lead auditor (45001 preferred) Lead Incident investigations Membership within a HSSE related professional body Possess effective written, oral and presentation skills Computer based skills Clear, concise, and sensitive communicator, able to adapt message to all levelsAny offer of employment may be conditioned upon the successful completion of a background screening.
