Job Description

The Regional Development Manager will oversee broker and introducer relationships within the London commercial real estate market, responsible for business volume and quality. You will be responsible for cultivating existing partnerships, identifying new opportunities, and ensuring the business meets quality standards and growth targets.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop a strategy for delivering expected regional business levels, managing a panel of strategic and broker partners, and developing existing relationships.
  2. Seek new introducers and develop regional distribution channels in line with company plans and product offerings.
  3. Develop partners into profitable producers through understanding their processes and maximizing business levels via training, development, and marketing.
  4. Understand regional dynamics to review and adjust strategies, communicate with line managers, and produce reports and broker notes for senior management.
  5. Maintain thorough knowledge of products and criteria, and quickly assess commercial property deals.
  6. Be experts on competitors, communicate strengths, and provide market intelligence feedback.
  7. Communicate with broker partners on new enquiries, lending decisions, and future business opportunities.
  8. Develop rationale for unusual cases and communicate with Credit teams.
  9. Manage a large panel of introducers, maintain relationships, and drive more business.
  10. Analyze broker performance, provide training, and support to increase conversions.
  11. Manage current pipeline and improve conversion metrics.
  12. Contribute to product development by gathering market intelligence and feedback.
  13. Assist with PR & advertising campaigns, providing content and focus areas.
  14. Identify networking opportunities, position as market expert, and produce presentation materials.
  15. Act as an ambassador, embodying and delivering brand values.

The Person

  1. Strong knowledge of commercial real estate, bridging, or BTL lending.
  2. Established introducer network within London.
  3. Extensive real estate field sales experience.
  4. Experience managing large geographic areas.
  5. Experience selling to intermediaries in mortgage and protection products.
  6. Excellent understanding of the commercial mortgage sector and financial services market.
