Job Description

About The Role

We have an exciting new role for a Regional Account Manager, who will professionally represent Sunbelt Rentals UK and Ireland covering the South West region. The primary aim is to win and develop revenue streams from National and Strategic customers operating within the Non Mechanical and Shoring sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Identify opportunities for product innovation, sustainability, and safety advances aligning with customer requirements.
  2. Collaborate with the Sales team and product specialists to address sector-specific needs.
  3. Support in delivering account plans to maximize revenue across all preferred supply opportunities.
  4. Build long-term relationships by networking with key decision-makers to increase revenue and market share.
  5. Cement relationships between Sunbelt Rentals staff and client staff at all levels to foster business growth.
  6. Partner with clients to identify initiatives that add value, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
  7. Maximize share of client business and identify opportunities for profitable growth.
  8. Support tender processes to secure new business opportunities.

About You

We will provide training and support for your success. We seek candidates with:

  • Experience in developing customer relationships, generating growth, and winning new business.
  • Experience within the Non Mechanical and Eze Shore sector.
  • Proven ability to develop SLAs and deliver excellent customer service.
  • Track record of measurable improvements in account management.
  • Strong influencing, negotiation, and networking skills.
  • Sales management experience, including team development.
  • Bid writing skills and experience with sizable bid opportunities.
  • A strategic approach balancing daily activities with long-term goals.
  • Innovative mindset and agility to exploit business opportunities.
  • High motivation and drive to meet challenging targets.
