About the Role

We're currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a reliable and hardworking Refuse Loader to join their friendly waste collection team. This is a hands on role where you'll be part of a team out in the community, collecting household and commercial waste and loading them onto collection vehicles, helping to keep local streets clean, safe, and tidy.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect household and commercial waste from designated routes
• Load refuse and recycling materials onto collection vehicles
• Assist the driver with daily route completion
• Ensure bins are returned safely and neatly after emptying
• Follow all health and safety procedures
• Provide polite and professional service to residents and businesses

Requirements

• Good level of physical fitness (role involves lifting and working outdoors in all weather conditions)
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work early mornings
• Strong team player
• Awareness of health and safety practices
• Previous experience in waste collection or manual outdoor work (desirable but not essential)
