We are looking for a driven Refuse Collection Driver to join the team based in Carlow. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced driver to make a real impact in an innovative and growing organization.

Responsibilities

• Operating waste collection vehicles in a safe and efficient manner following designated routes and schedules.
• Collecting waste, recyclables, and other materials from residential, commercial, and industrial locations.
• Ensuring proper loading and unloading of waste materials in compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Inspecting vehicles before and after shifts, reporting any mechanical issues or damages promptly.
• Maintaining accurate records of waste collection activities and reporting discrepancies or concerns to supervisors.
• Communicating courteously with customers and responding to inquiries or concerns related to waste collection services.

Qualifications

• Applicants must possess all relevant up to date CPC, Digi card & licenses.
• At least 1 year of experience driving lorries.
• Waste Management experience beneficial but not essential.
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
