The Vacancy Job Purpose:

This key position involves carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across multiple site locations. You will be the first point of contact for all maintenance tasks at your assigned sites. The role focuses on technical repairs and PPMs, ensuring all technical and compliance paperwork is completed accurately and promptly. All work must be performed to high standards, efficiently, cost-effectively, and in compliance with the Company Health and Safety policy.

Key Accountabilities:

• Complete the PPM schedule within agreed timescales, ensuring all paperwork is accurate and adheres to procedures.
• Respond promptly to service requests from the Helpdesk, assessing requirements and performing necessary repairs.
• Prioritize maintenance and repairs to meet response and completion times.
• Order spares following laid-down procedures.
• Identify non-repairable faults and advise the Line Manager with recommendations for replacements.
• Ensure compliance documentation is always complete and up to date.
• Conduct surveys and prepare reports as required by City management.
• Perform minor alterations and installations within your technical competence and current specifications.
• Attend training to keep skills up-to-date with technical developments.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Minimum GCSE/Standard Grade education.
• Ability to deliver quality repairs and maintenance.
• Capability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Speed and efficiency in completing work.
• Respond to service requests within agreed times.
• Achieve PPM schedule deadlines.
• Maintain Health and Safety standards.
