Refrigeration Design Engineer - Christchurch (Start ASAP)

Join Equans ANZ as a Refrigeration Design Engineer delivering innovative refrigeration system designs and collaborating across disciplines.

Your Role

Here's what you will be doing:

• Deliver end-to-end refrigeration design services, including equipment sizing and selection.
• Coordinate with architects, electrical engineers, and other disciplines to integrate refrigeration systems seamlessly.
• Align design solutions with client requirements and attend design meetings to ensure stakeholder engagement.
• Produce detailed drawings, job specifications, and cost estimates for refrigeration projects.
• Prepare as-built documentation and maintenance proposals, and conduct design-to-as-built reviews.
• Conduct site visits, gather data, and present competitive bids.
• Actively promote the company's services and maintain strong industry relationships.
• Stay informed on industry trends and developments that may impact the business.

About You

The company is looking for:

• An engineering degree, diploma or trade certificate.
• Experience in the design of refrigeration systems, including CO2 systems.
• Demonstrated ability to manage workload effectively, prioritise tasks, and meet project deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clients and stakeholders.
