Job Description
Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineer 
Navio Ltd have an exciting opportunity for a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing refrigeration systems and equipment.
Responsibilities- Installing refrigeration and air conditioning systems, in line with client and building requirements.
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and energy efficiency standards.
- Diagnosing and repairing faults and malfunctions in existing systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance to prevent breakdowns and extend the lifespan of equipment.
- Troubleshooting: fault finding diagnostics and providing solutions with quality workmanship.
- Advise clients on system improvements and adjustments to enhance performance and energy efficiency.
- Collaborate with other stakeholders, including project managers, to develop integrated solutions that meet the specific needs of the client.
- Maintain tools, equipment, van (if provided) and keep work areas clean, orderly, and safe.
- Complete job documentation: reports of work done, parts used, recommendations for follow up maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety legislation, company policies, and all relevant regulations.
- Occasionally respond to emergency call outs and after hours work.
- Comply with Navio's Quality, Environment and Health & Safety Management System requirements, performing work according to process documents, procedures and maintaining document information/completing department forms/records as required.
- Understand and apply our QEHS policy statements in all aspects of your work.
- Contribute toward achieving Navio's QEHS objectives.
- Ensure that the needs and requirements of Navio's internal staff and customers are understood and delivered.
- Help develop and improve Navio's internal processes and management system by reporting corrective actions, updates and improvement ideas.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time keeping and attendance.
- Technical and mechanical aptitude.
- Good problem solving skills, able to diagnose and develop effective solutions quickly.
- Must be adaptable and able to work on own initiative but also as part of the team.
- Good work ethic with a positive 'can do' attitude.
- Safe Pass.
- Full clean Irish driver's license.
- Fully qualified Refrigeration/HVAC Technician with a completed Refrigeration Apprenticeship.
- Minimum 3 to 4 years post trade experience.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, including electrical and mechanical components, is essential.
