Recycling Operative

Salary

£12.71/h plus overtime on a rota.

Hours

40 per week across 7 days including bank holidays.

8:45am - 5:15pm.

Location

Bridgnorth Household Waste Recycling Centre, WV15 5BA.

Responsibilities

• Provide an effective and efficient recycling service to local residents with their household waste and recycling.
• Ensure the facility is left in a clean condition and spillages are cleaned up before leaving the area.
• Ensure the health and safety of all members of the public, visitors, staff, and contractors at the site.
• Assist with other parts of the operation as required.
• Plant and weighbridge data entry work (e.g., loading shovel/telehandler); full training and accreditation available.
• Operate the IT tablet-based booking system.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a similar operational environment.
• Manual handling experience.

Note

This role involves manual handling and working outdoors in all weather conditions.
