Recycling Operative immediately required to work within the Belfast City Council, at their Ormeau Park site in East Belfast.
This is a full time, temporary post, initially required for 3 months, with the possibility of extension. Working hours will be Monday - Friday 0730 - 1530. Pay rate for this role is £14.35 per hour.
As a Recycling Operative, you will be responsible for ensuring all refuse and recyclable materials are removed from premises in a timely manner, transporting priority waste to designated transfer or disposal sites, safely collecting, separating, and loading segregated waste, carrying out general cleansing duties as required and working in line with health and safety procedures at all times.
What We Need From You
- Minimum of 2 GCSE's, including English
- At least 1 year's experience working in a similar environment
- Previous experience dealing with members of the public
