We're Thorn Baker Construction, a trusted name in construction recruitment since 1988, matching great people with great projects across the UK.
Our Construction team in Leeds is growing fast, and we're now looking for a Recruitment Resourcer to join us. You'll play a key role supporting our team with sourcing, attracting, and matching top tier candidates for temporary construction roles in the region.
Alongside finding great people, this role also plays an important part in making sure every candidate we place is fully compliant and ready to work on site. That means being organised, detail focused, and confident managing the compliance checks and documentation that keep our clients and workers protected.
If you're organised, proactive, and love connecting with people, this is your chance to build a career in one of the UK's most in demand sectors - without the pressure of sales targets.
Why Join Us?- Competitive salary + OTE £35,000-£40,000
- City centre Leeds office
- Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm
- No sales - pure 180 resourcing focus
- Work alongside a highly experienced team
- Perkbox discounts & employee benefits
- European city break for top performers
- A clear training & development plan
- Be part of a Values driven business: People Driven. Solution Focused. Positive Minded.
In this role, you'll be right at the heart of the action - sourcing, attracting, and supporting the best construction talent across the region.
You'll build and nurture talent pools for key site roles, craft job adverts that stand out, and proactively search, headhunt, and network to uncover hidden candidates. From managing applications through Logic Melon and LinkedIn to tapping into our established construction network, you'll make sure the right people find the right opportunities.
Once they do, you'll guide them through the full registration and onboarding process - conducting screening calls, collecting references, booking interviews, and matching candidates carefully to job specifications.
A key part of the role is also ensuring Right to Work and compliance checks are completed accurately. Construction sites require strict documentation, so you'll be responsible for gathering and verifying identification, RTW documentation, qualifications and tickets (such as CSCS cards), ensuring every candidate is fully compliant before stepping onto site.
You'll also maintain accurate records in our CRM system, support the consultants with candidate shortlists and client submissions, and provide essential administrative support that keeps the desk running smoothly.
About YouWe're looking for someone who's confident, organised, and genuinely enjoys working with people. You'll ideally have some recruitment, resourcing, or administrative experience and be comfortable using LinkedIn, job boards, and CRM systems to connect with candidates. A keen interest in construction or professional services recruitment will help you quickly get to grips with the roles you'll be supporting. Above all, you'll be a team player who thrives in a fast paced, collaborative environment where no two days are ever the same.
