Recruitment open event - Clinical Supervisors (Band 6)

As NHS 24 are currently recruiting Clinical Supervisors to join our team in Clydebank, Cardonald and South Queensferry, we are hosting open sessions to allow you to find out more about these nursing career opportunities.

Spaces are limited so please book now to avoid disappointment.

The events will last approximately an hour and a half and will be a chance to find out more about the roles and our organisation. There will also be an opportunity to speak to existing members of staff and to ask any questions.

These positions are open to anyone who is RGN Part 1 qualified.

  • Tuesday 16th September at 16:00 in-person at our Clydebank centre
  • Tuesday 16th September at 16:15 on MS Teams (Hosted by our South Queensferry Team)
  • Wednesday 17th September at 17:00 on MS Teams (Hosted by our Clydebank Team)
  • Friday 19th September at 16:00 in-person at our South Queensferry centre

Clinical Supervisor - Band 6 Nurse Practitioner

Who are we looking for?
  • You will be registered as an Adult nurse on Part 1 of the NMC register
  • You will possess excellent clinical decision-making skills, with the ability to provide continuous clinical supervision, engagement, and leadership remotely
  • Extensive post registration experience, preferably within an acute or primary care setting, with a broad range of knowledge across a number of specialties
  • Critical decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-disciplined with excellent time management
Enhanced Salary Package

NHS 24 offers a total reward package, with a permanent contract on Band 6 £41,608 - £50,702 (pro rata for part-time hours). Placement on salary scale is dependent on confirmation of previous relevant NHS service.

Competitive salary enhancements for working unsocial hours are in addition to the above basic starting salary of £41,608. The following hourly rates apply:

  • Basic Hourly Rate of £21.57
  • Saturday / After 8pm Weekday Hourly Rate of £32.34
  • Sunday / Public Holiday Hourly Rate of £43.13

Placement on salary scale is dependent on confirmation of previous relevant NHS service. NHS 24 shift patterns command an average uplift of 33% in addition to the basic salary shown. Dependent on individual shift patterns, this information is indicative only, and cannot be taken as guaranteed.
