Pay Range: £31,500 to £36,500. Working Hours/Pattern: Full-time; part-time considered upon discussion with talent partner. Flexible working arrangements vary by role.

Role Overview

The Recruitment Manager is responsible for creating and identifying new business opportunities within the local area by developing strong working relationships with employers and bringing on board new employment opportunities for our participants on the Restart Scheme.

Key Responsibilities
  • Taking Ownership
  • Identifying new business opportunities and winning new clients
  • Planning and conducting events such as job fairs and employer days
  • Post-placement support and account management
  • Meeting and exceeding performance targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Promoting the Restart Scheme within the community, raising awareness of its benefits and impact
  • Maximising repeating business opportunities through building and maintaining relationships with employers
  • Working closely with other teams including Employment Advisers and Skills Trainers to progress participants into work

Qualifications
  • Successful track record of working in a sales environment, account management or business development role (both face-to-face presenting and telephone sales experience)
  • Demonstrable experience of working to targets
  • Willingness to travel locally (e.g., to meet customers/employers) with good knowledge of local labour market
  • Minimum of 2 A-Levels or an equivalent Level 3 Diploma
  • GCSE English Language at a minimum of a Grade B (or equivalent Level 2 qualification) or achievement of a Level 2 in Literacy Assessment at interview stage
  • Valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
Desirable Criteria
  • Experience of working in recruitment, publicly funded services, or similar sectors
  • Experience of working in a customer-facing environment (e.g., Customer Services, Hospitality, Social Care)
  • Interest in people and willingness to go the extra mile
  • Interest in career and personal development
  • Fluency in more than one language
