Reed Further Education are recruiting Learning Support Assistants to support learners across a range of Further Education settings. Join us at our upcoming recruitment event to learn more about the role and interview on the day.
Job type: The role is for the whole academic year with potential of extension and going permanent.

Recruitment Event Overview (Short Version)
- Presentation: Learn about the Learning Support Assistant role and daily expectations.
- Group Interview: Introduce yourself and discuss your experience, including safeguarding knowledge.
- Written Task: Complete a short written exercise on the day (optional preparation provided).
- Meet the Reed Team: Ask questions about registration, payroll, start dates, and onboarding.
- After the Event: Successful candidates will be contacted within a few days and complete registration and a paid induction before starting in September.

Pay & Working Hours
- Pay: £16.00 per hour
- Hours: 08:30 - 16:30 (approximately 7 hours per day)
- Working Pattern: Minimum of 4 days per week
- Start Date: September (confirmed after onboarding)
All candidates must be available for a minimum of 4 days per week
Key Responsibilities
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
- Support students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
- Assist learners with integration into classroom and workplace settings
- Work collaboratively with Course Tutors and wider support staff
- Support learner development, engagement, and wellbeing
- Complete termly reviews and maintain accurate progress records
- Supervise students during break and lunch times
