We are currently recruiting for a Recruitment Co Ordinator to join our People and Culture team at Ashford Castle.
Location: Cong, County Mayo, Ireland - Onsite

Working pattern: Full-time, 5 days over 7 days. 9am - 5:30pm

- Source, recruit and interview candidates for Ashford Castle and The Lodge at Ashford Castle, ensuring a high quality candidate experience throughout.
- Manage assigned vacancies end to end, including screening CVs, arranging and conducting interviews, issuing regrets and extending job offers.
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand departmental needs, culture, and role requirements.
- Ensure job requisitions are received, approved and advertised internally, externally and on relevant job boards in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate recruitment trackers, candidate records and reports in line with HR policies and employment legislation.
- Conduct reference checks, pre employment screening, right to work verification and background checks.
- Support pre employment and onboarding processes, including contracts, offer letters and induction coordination.
- Actively promote Ashford Castle and The Lodge as employers of choice, attending careers fairs, college events and recruitment initiatives.
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline through networking, social media campaigns and partnerships with schools, agencies and hospitality networks.
- Manage recruitment advertising and social media activity, analysing campaign effectiveness and maintaining the company careers website.
- Support wider People & Culture initiatives including employee engagement, training support, employee welfare and internal communications.
- Act as a brand ambassador for Ashford Castle, upholding Red Carnation core values and guiding principles at all times.
- Previous experience in recruitment, HR administration or a similar role (hospitality experience desirable).
- Strong knowledge of Irish employment law and best HR practice.
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously.
- Confident communicator with the ability to build strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers and external partners.
- A proactive, self motivated and positive individual who thrives in a fast paced environment.
- High level of confidentiality, professionalism and integrity.
- Strong IT skills, including ATS systems, Microsoft Office and social media platforms.
- A genuine passion for people, hospitality and employer branding.
