Recruitment & Onboarding Administrator

Permanent, Full-Time, 37.5 per hour, Monday to Friday

Based on Site.

Salary: £25,000

Location: Birchwood House, Birchwood Ave, Birchwood, Lincoln, LN6 0JB

Birchwood House and Lodge, is a purpose-built, high-intensity specialist home, designed to support the needs of individuals with profound and severe disabilities and those with complex behaviours that may challenge. We are seeking a Recruitment and Onboarding Administrator to join them, full-time 5 days per week.

Key Role and Responsibilities
  • Responding to applications, reviewing CVs, and shortlisting candidates
  • Conducting candidate screening calls
  • Arranging interviews
  • Carrying out pre-employment checks and onboarding activities of new starters
  • Maintaining and auditing staff files
  • Maintain and update the recruitment and HR database with all staff changes including new starters and leavers, ensuring the correct data is entered
  • Provide general administrative support to the service
  • Working with the Recruitment and HR team on any ad-hoc HR projects or work
  • Support the team with all casework including organising and acting as a note-taker where required in employee meetings.
  • Undertake other ad-hoc duties as may be required by Management
Job requirements
  • Previous recruitment and administrative experience is ideal
  • Compliance and process driven
  • Experience of working with HR and Recruitment systems (ATS) would be beneficial
  • Able to demonstrate strong proficiency with various systems and Microsoft applications
  • Ability to articulate clearly and liaise effectively with staff, managers, and stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
  • Ability to multitask without supervision with excellent time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure at times and effective at working to deadlines
  • Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality
  • Strong organisational, record-keeping skills and attention to detail
