Our Recovery Workers play a vital role in supporting clients to identify their goals, ambitions, and passions. You'll work with them to create the best treatment plan for their needs and to guide them on their path to recovery. This is an integral role for With You - as a frontline worker, you will deliver continuity of care through effective partnership working, care coordination, delivery of interventions and key work responsibilities.

The successful candidate will be compassionate, proactive and confident in partnership working, with a strong understanding of the challenges faced by individuals experiencing substance misuse and mental health difficulties.

We are looking for a Recovery Worker, working 37.5 hours per week between 09:00 - 17:00, Monday - Friday.

We are looking for positive and motivated candidates who are able to communicate with a wide range of people. You will also be organised with excellent time management skills.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Building effective links with PCNs, CMHTs, Access Wellbeing Hubs, Interface Meetings and Steps 2 Wellbeing services.
  • Supporting clients to attend appointments and advocating on their behalf with partner agencies.
  • Providing outreach support and attending multi-agency meetings to ensure coordinated care.
  • Offering low-level emotional wellbeing support, including support around anxiety, depression and neurodiversity.
  • Supporting clients to engage with external mental health services and improve access to appropriate care pathways.
  • Focusing on engaging individuals with mental health needs into the treatment system and reducing barriers to support.
  • You will have a UK Driving License and access to a vehicle.

Ideally you will also have previous experience of working or volunteering with people who misuse substances. We welcome applications from those with lived experience. Above all, we are looking for someone who is passionate about what we do, with an inspiring and engaging approach.
