Job Description
Record to Reporting (R2R) Process Lead 
Join Knight Frank's Head Office at 55 Baker Street as the Record to Reporting (R2R) Process Lead. You will drive the end to end management and financial reporting process across a large, complex commercial real estate portfolio, ensuring robust financial control, regulatory compliance, and high quality management reporting.
Responsibilities- Lead accurate and timely month end, quarter end and year end close processes, ensuring general ledger integrity and reporting quality.
- Review and challenge management accounts, partner with FP&A and finance partners to support performance reporting.
- Manage key equity accounts across the UK LLP for partners, including annuitant forecasts and calculations.
- Own production of UK statutory financial statements under IFRS/UK GAAP, ensuring compliance and clean audit opinions.
- Oversee all technical accounting matters, including judgments, estimates and policy application.
- Support corporate transactions (acquisitions, disposals, restructures) from an accounting perspective.
- Design, implement and monitor robust internal control frameworks, ensure reconciliations, identify and mitigate financial risks.
- Lead remediation of control deficiencies and embed sustainable improvements.
- Drive standardisation and harmonisation of R2R processes across entities and regions, champion best practice accounting processes.
- Lead automation and digital transformation efforts, including ERP functionality, RPA and data tools.
- Set and track KPIs, SLAs and performance metrics to improve process efficiency and quality.
- Act as process owner for R2R within broader finance transformation programmes.
- Lead a high performing accounting team, providing coaching, performance management and fostering a culture of accountability and technical excellence.
- Act as key advisor to senior finance leadership on R2R matters.
- Serve as the lead contact for external and internal auditors, coordinate audits and remediate deficiencies.
- Manage indirect tax accounting activities, including VAT returns and accounting.
- 7-10 years post qualified experience in a large, complex matrix organisation.
- Qualified accountant (ICAEW and/or ACCA).
- Extensive experience in Record to Reporting and financial control within a large, complex organisation.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS/UK GAAP and statutory reporting requirements.
- Experience in commercial real estate or LLP environments.
- Proven track record of process improvement, transformation or shared service implementation.
- ERP experience (e.g., SAP) and financial technology.
- Consolidation experience and understanding of multi entity, multi currency environments.
- Leadership of high performing accounting teams across locations.
- Strategic thinking, stakeholder influence, change management, problem solving mindset, collaboration and cross functional partnership skills.
- Systems savviness with SAP (general ledger, FICO), use of BPC reporting tool, advanced Excel proficiency.
