Duties as Reception/Year 1 Teacher:- Teach a Reception/Year 1 class on a part time basis
- Deliver engaging lessons aligned with EYFS and KS1 expectations
- Support early literacy, phonics, numeracy, and play based learning
- Maintain consistent routines and positive behaviour approaches
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet varied developmental needs, including SEND
- Assess pupil progress and provide appropriate feedback
- Work collaboratively with EYFS and KS1 colleagues
- Contribute to planning and assessment as part of the teaching team
- Uphold safeguarding expectations and prioritise pupil welfare
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in EYFS and/or KS1
- Confident supporting mixed age classes
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Warm, nurturing, and proactive teaching approach
- Reflective and adaptable to part time working patterns
- Dedicated to safeguarding and promoting pupil well being
