Receptionist/Practice Administrator

Salary: £12.75 per hour

Working Pattern: We are recruiting for a full-time position, with hours worked over either four or five days considered. Applicants must be able to work within our operating hours of 8:00am to 6:30pm.

Location: Sunlight Centre, Gillingham (and other Group Practice sites if needed)

MPA Ltd is a GP Federation delivering multiple clinical services across Medway and Swale; this includes Primary Care Services at Castle and Maidstone Road Surgery and MPA Group Practices, Home Visiting Service and supporting PCNs with the delivery of Enhanced Access Hours.

MPA Group Practices are looking for an enthusiastic Receptionists/Practice Administrator to work at Sunlight Centre with excellent interpersonal, customer service and organisational skills to work across the Group Practice. The Group Practice covers five sites across Medway and Swale with a 30,600 patient list size.

Applicants will be required to work on a busy reception desk, dealing with patients both over the telephone and face to face, while providing a friendly and professional service. The role also involves working in the back office, carrying out a range of clinical administration tasks to support the wider practice team and ensuring the smooth running of daily operations.

Previous reception, administration and/or customer service experience is desirable, along with strong communication skills, the ability to work in a fast paced environment, and good organisation skills.
