Shift Pattern: Wednesdays and Fridays 6am-12noon. Additional shifts will be required for holiday and sickness cover. Additional shifts will be 6am-12noon or 12noon-6pm, Monday to Friday.
Guaranteed weekly hours are 12 but you could be working up to 30hrs each week depending on business requirements.
As a receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing a professional and welcoming service. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will handle a variety of administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the office.
Key Responsibilities- Greet and direct visitors, ensuring they feel welcome and are assisted promptly. Provide them with necessary information or direct them to the appropriate person or department.
- Answer and transfer phone calls efficiently, taking messages when necessary and ensuring accurate communication.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages, sorting and distributing them to the correct recipients.
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars, coordinating meeting rooms and ensuring all arrangements are in place.
- Provide general administrative support to the team, including filing, data entry, and managing office supplies.
- Maintain a tidy and presentable reception area, ensuring it reflects the professional image of the company.
- Assist with data entry and record keeping as needed, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Ensure accurate and timely communication within the office, relaying messages and information promptly.
- You must have the right to work in the UK.
- Experience within a Receptionist role is essential.
- This is a busy role with a lot of security responsibility so if you enjoy a challenge and are quick to pick up, retain and use new information we'd love to hear from you. Attention to the smallest details is essential!

- Proficiency in using office equipment like phone systems and copiers.

- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
- You will be working across two sites in East Cowes and will need your own transport due to 6am starts.
- As you will be relieving the nightguard, at the end of their 12-hour shift, reliability and punctuality are essential qualities for this role.
- Due to the security aspects of this role, we will need to BPSS-clear you which includes a DBS.
