What you'll be working
  • Part-Time - 20 hours
  • 4 hours over 5 days Monday-Friday (negotiable)
  • Salary - £26,025.87 (FTE) Per annum (Pro rata) FTE hours 37.5
What you'll be doing
  • Ensure the smooth running of the reception area.
  • Operation of the telephone system and acting as the focal point for enquiries in the service, liaising with colleagues, patients / residents / young people, and visitors as appropriate.
  • Central information point for colleagues and visitors.
  • Ensuring that all visitors to the hospital are issued a badge and welcomed appropriately.
  • Take receipt of and open the post and distribute to the appropriate department.
  • Any filling, photocopying, laminating, or shredding as required for all departments.
  • Ordering of stationery for site.
  • Booking of vehicles and taxis for patients / residents / young people and visitors.
  • Maintain their own training compliance with and ensure they are up to date with regulatory standards.
  • Adherence to all Group policies and procedures, and ensuring that all colleagues in the service are aware of and understand company policies.
What you'll have
  • Possess excellent organisational skills and be self-motivated.
  • Possess good administrative/secretarial skills.
  • Able to work well on own initiative, with minimal supervision.
  • IT systems, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Friendly and approachable demeanour to create a positive first impression.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail for managing records and handling correspondence.
  • Commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
