What you'll be working- Part-Time - 20 hours
- 4 hours over 5 days Monday-Friday (negotiable)
- Salary - £26,025.87 (FTE) Per annum (Pro rata) FTE hours 37.5
- Ensure the smooth running of the reception area.
- Operation of the telephone system and acting as the focal point for enquiries in the service, liaising with colleagues, patients / residents / young people, and visitors as appropriate.
- Central information point for colleagues and visitors.
- Ensuring that all visitors to the hospital are issued a badge and welcomed appropriately.
- Take receipt of and open the post and distribute to the appropriate department.
- Any filling, photocopying, laminating, or shredding as required for all departments.
- Ordering of stationery for site.
- Booking of vehicles and taxis for patients / residents / young people and visitors.
- Maintain their own training compliance with and ensure they are up to date with regulatory standards.
- Adherence to all Group policies and procedures, and ensuring that all colleagues in the service are aware of and understand company policies.
- Possess excellent organisational skills and be self-motivated.
- Possess good administrative/secretarial skills.
- Able to work well on own initiative, with minimal supervision.
- IT systems, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Friendly and approachable demeanour to create a positive first impression.
- Ability to build rapport with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail for managing records and handling correspondence.
- Commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
