Band 3 - Salary Range £29,103 - £31,409 per annum (pro rata). Distant Island Allowance £2,578 per annum (pro rata).
Initially appointed at Band 2 (Salary range £26,696 - £28,988 per annum pro rata) rising to Band 3 upon successful completion of competencies.

The Gilbert Bain Hospital Reception serves as the first place of contact for visitors and patients, providing essential support to the hospital and wider community teams. The department plays a pivotal role in ensuring timely responses, effective communication, and the coordination of resources.
Previous reception/secretarial experience and skills are desirable; in house training will be provided.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for visitors and patients, ensuring timely and effective communication.
- Provide essential support to staff and wider community teams.
- Coordinate resources and ensure efficient operations.
- Comply with the Induction Standards and Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers within 3 months of commencing the role.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Previous reception or secretarial experience desirable.
- Ability to work within bank hours; flexibility required.
- Right to work in the UK without sponsorship; must have appropriate right to work before applying.
