Join Our Team as a Reception Badging Officer

We're looking for a professional, customer-focused Front of House Security Officer to join our onsite team at Visa in Basingstoke. This is more than a traditional security role - you'll be the first point of contact for visitors, delivering a seamless, welcoming experience while maintaining the highest standards of security and compliance.

About the Role

• Deliver a professional front-of-house service, welcoming visitors and managing enquiries
• Oversee access control, visitor management, and badging processes
• Monitor security systems and respond promptly to alarms and incidents
• Conduct patrols and support investigations, ensuring accurate reporting
• Maintain detailed records, audit trails, and compliance documentation
• Support emergency response procedures in line with site protocols
• Provide administrative support, ensuring all security data and logs are up to date
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment

You will be responsible for

• Welcoming staff and visitors and creating a safe, professional atmosphere
• Conducting regular patrols and monitoring premises to prevent unauthorised access, theft, or vandalism.
• Monitoring access points, CCTV, and handling security procedures
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents, taking appropriate action as needed.
• Complete detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and any security concerns.
• Assist in emergency situations, including evacuations and first aid support if required.
• Adapting to different client sites - no two days are the same
• Responding calmly and confidently to incidents or concerns
• Working as part of a diverse, supportive team

What we are looking for Essential Requirements

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence
• First Aid at Work certification
• Experience with access control systems
• Ability to stand for extended periods

Desirable

• 5+ years' experience in corporate security with a customer-facing focus
