At Trinity Hospice & Brian House, we provide outstanding specialist palliative and end of life care to patients and families across the Fylde Coast. We are looking for a compassionate and highly organised Reception & Clinical Administrator to join our dedicated team and become one of the welcoming faces of our hospice.
This is a varied and rewarding role that combines reception responsibilities with vital clinical administration support. You will play a key part in ensuring patients, families, visitors and healthcare professionals receive a professional, caring and efficient service from their very first contact with us.
What You'll Be Doing- Provide a welcoming and professional reception and telephone service.
- Be the first point of contact for patients, families, visitors, volunteers and healthcare professionals.
- Coordinate appointments, room bookings and daily diaries.
- Support the management of referrals, admissions and patient records.
- Produce and process clinical correspondence and documentation.
- Work closely with nursing, clinical and multidisciplinary teams.
- Help maintain accurate records and support reporting and audit activities.
- Assist in coordinating and supporting our valued Reception Volunteers.
- Previous experience in a reception, customer service or administrative role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- The ability to prioritise work and remain calm in a busy environment.
- A flexible and positive approach to teamwork.
Experience within a healthcare, hospice or NHS setting and knowledge of EMIS or other clinical systems would be advantageous, but is not essential.
