Job Description
Real Estate Solicitor (Professional Support Lawyer) 5 Years PQE, Birmingham, £75,000 (DOE) - This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong real estate solicitor who enjoys sharing knowledge, monitoring legal developments, supporting colleagues, and helping shape best practice across a leading legal team. THE ROLE:
• Monitor legal, regulatory and market developments affecting the real estate sector, identifying emerging issues, trends and opportunities for the business and its clients.
• Produce insightful legal updates, briefing notes, articles and thought leadership content for both internal and external audiences.
• Build and maintain relationships with external knowledge professionals, industry bodies, legal networks and market contacts.
• Design and deliver technical training programmes, workshops and learning resources for lawyers across the department.
• Develop, manage and continuously improve the department's knowledge resources, ensuring materials remain accurate, relevant and accessible.
• Draft and maintain practice notes, guidance documents, toolkits, checklists and other practical resources to support fee earners.
• Keep abreast of developments in legal technology, knowledge management systems and innovation tools, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and service delivery

SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Applications are sought from Commercial Property Solicitors with a minimum of 5 Years PQE looking for a new challenge in their career.
• Excellent technical legal knowledge and a strong understanding of the wider real estate market.
• Ability to analyse complex legal developments and communicate them clearly to different audiences.
• Strong drafting, presentation and training skills.
• A proactive approach to identifying emerging legal and market issues.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple projects and deadlines.
• High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Comfortable using legal research platforms, knowledge management systems and digital technologies.
• A collaborative, adaptable and solutions-focused mindset.
