BCL Legal is delighted to be working with a leading national law firm on the recruitment of a Real Estate Dispute Resolution Senior Associate to join its highly regarded Birmingham team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Property Litigation Solicitor to join a collaborative and well-established team, working alongside recognised experts on a broad range of high-quality real estate disputes. Supporting a highly experienced Partner and senior lawyers, you'll gain exposure to complex matters while enjoying genuine opportunities for career development.
The RoleYou will advise a broad client base including developers, investors, landlords, tenants and public sector organisations on a wide range of contentious real estate matters, including:
- Landlord and tenant disputes, including lease renewals, dilapidations and forfeiture.
- Development-related disputes, including rights of light, restrictive covenants and boundary disputes.
- Possession claims, trespass matters and property insolvency issues.
- Court proceedings, mediations and alternative dispute resolution.
- Drafting pleadings, witness statements and instructions to counsel.
- Managing your own caseload while supporting senior colleagues on complex, high-value litigation.
- Mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to business development and client relationship initiatives.

About YouTo be considered, you will have:
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 5+ years' PQE in Property Litigation.
- Strong technical knowledge of real estate disputes.
- Experience of County Court and First-tier Tribunal proceedings.
- Excellent drafting, communication and client management skills.
- A commercial and pragmatic approach to resolving disputes.
- The ability to manage your own workload while working effectively within a collaborative team.
