Description

We are seeking an experienced, collaborative, and highly motivated senior facilities and real estate/construction professional with a demonstrated focus in leading outstanding workplaces with a record of delivering high quality results at the best value to join our team as Places Regional Lead supporting countries in EMEAThe role will report to EMEA Facilities, Operations and Engineering Lead.

Responsibilities
  • You will lead an experienced team of engineering and facilities professionals to deliver, manage, maintain Apple EMEA Corporate portfolio in Europe (part) / MEA.
  • You will represent Places Global team in Europe (part) / MEA, you will invest in people and develop this team.
  • You will oversee various programs to foster consistency across teams in Places.
  • You will actively manage the portfolio to ensure compliance to local regulations, driving efficiencies and ensuring the real estate portfolio is future proofed to enable Apples business. You will partner across all BUs and actively support Europe (part) / MEA Site Leadership across Places and People initiatives.
  • You will support Places initiatives to enable becoming the Global leader in operational excellence. Consistently operate and maintain Places across EMEA providing excellence in service to our partners.
  • You will consistently deliver projects on time and within budget to the high quality that is expected of Apple's Places, at times partnering with Places PM team.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Extensive knowledge of and experience with the upkeep and function of Client led real estate portfolio, buildings, building systems, machinery, landscape, and quality improvement projects.
  • Proven experience leading a diverse, dynamic portfolio expanding in existing and new markets.
  • Strategic planning, sourcing, implementation of a consistent FM delivery model across the region through in Country teams and service partners.
  • Capital and operating expense planning skills; strong resource management abilities, including balancing end user requirements with constantly changing fiscal requirements and personnel resources/constraints
  • Experience building and maintaining relationships with facility operation, maintenance & services companies, utility companies, project teams including architectural & design firms, and general contracting firms.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and supervisory skills, including experience working with all levels of an organisation, always with a positive manner
  • Travel will be required across portfolio to support in country teams. (Travel c. 50%)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial), Business Technical lead or Building Construction Management equivalent.
  • Exceptional experience in detail-oriented, Facility Management, high-quality construction and project management of complex real estate portfolio.
  • Obsessed with customer service and making buildings outstanding workplaces Self-starter, highly motivated to succeed and provide best-in-class Facilities services with demonstrated ability to balance the trade-offs between operational risk and investment, constantly seeking the highest quality and design at the best value
  • Demonstrated experience with conservation and sustainable building maintenance practices
  • Demonstrated success in employee development and mentoring including fostering collaboration, continuous performance feedback and motivating the team to develop and apply tools for more efficient operations and improved customer service
  • Demonstrated ability to bring cross-functional teams together within and outside the Places function, including Security, IS&T, Finance, Corporate Communications, and Procurement to ensure standard methodologies and continual process improvement;
