Rail Maintenance Electrician - Greater AngliaA client of mine is currently recruiting for an experienced Mobile Maintenance Electrician to cover sites across the Greater Anglia region, ideally based around the Stansted area.Working Hours

• Monday to Friday: 08:00 - 17:30
• Additional hours may be required depending on workload
• Occasional weekend working
• Required to respond to callouts as needed

The Role Duties will include:

• Carrying out reactive and planned maintenance (PPM) across electrical assets
• Completing worksheets accurately and submitting to Head Office weekly
• Making recommendations regarding plant condition
• Submitting Life Expired Asset reports where necessary
• Compiling remedial works lists following PPM visits
• Assisting the Contracts Manager with costings
• Ordering materials and submitting paperwork weekly
• Attending training and Health & Safety courses as directed
• Following correct accident and incident reporting procedures

Requirements

• Fully qualified Electrician (qualifications will be verified)
• Experience within reactive and planned maintenance environments
• Full UK driving licence
• Comfortable working independently across multiple sites
• Flexible to respond to callouts

Salary

• Up to £40,000 depending on experience

Callout & Overtime

• Contractual callout: 1 in 4 weeks (currently operating closer to 1 in 6 - flexibility required)
• Callout hours: 17:30 - 08:00 for 7 consecutive days
• Standby payment: £125 per week
• Minimum 4 hours paid per callout attended

Overtime Rates:

• x1.5 - Monday to Friday 17:30-08:00 & Saturday 08:00-14:00
• x2 - Saturday 14:00 through to Monday 08:00
