UPMC Sports Surgery Clinic (SSC) is seeking an experienced and dynamic Radiology Services Manager to lead and develop our Radiology Department. The department is equipped with state of the art imaging technology, including three 3.0T MRI scanners, a CT scanner (with a second scanner scheduled for installation in early 2027), two X ray rooms, seven operating theatres and image guided interventional procedures. While specialising in orthopaedics, spinal and musculoskeletal imaging, the department also provides a broad range of general imaging services.
This is a pivotal leadership role offering the opportunity to shape and grow an established, high performing radiology service within a leading private healthcare provider. As Radiology Services Manager you will be responsible for the strategic direction, operational management and clinical governance of the department-ensuring the delivery of a safe, efficient, and patient centred service across all modalities. You will play a key role in driving service innovation, quality improvement and departmental expansion, while maintaining a strong visible leadership presence with the clinical team.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities- Provide strategic direction and clinical governance for the Radiology Department.
- Manage day to day operations ensuring efficient, safe and patient centred service delivery across all imaging modalities.
- Lead service innovation and quality improvement initiatives.
- Oversee departmental expansion and growth of imaging services.
- Maintain a visible leadership presence with the clinical team.
Qualifications
- BSc in Radiography or equivalent.
- Leadership experience as a Radiology Services Manager.
- Post graduate qualification in Leadership/management (desirable).
- Coru registration.
Experience
- Significant experience in radiology leadership (RSM or equivalent).
- Extensive clinical experience in diagnostic imaging.
- Proven track record in operational management, service development and staff leadership.
- Experience in quality improvement, audit and clinical governance.
Desirable
- Post graduate qualification in Healthcare Management, Leadership or related discipline.
- Experience managing large multidisciplinary teams and complex imaging services.
- Experience leading service expansion and innovation projects.
