required to join a leading Main Contractor in Galway. This client has a large pipeline of work including Residential & Commercial projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual looking to develop their career within the construction industry in an exciting, growing firm.

Role

• Procurement, appointment and management of subcontractors & suppliers through to final account
• Produce accurate progress accounts
• Preparation and assessment of interim and final valuations for progress payments
• Monitor and report on project costs
• Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate potential risks and cost overruns
• Assist the pre construction team in the delivery of tenders
• Stay updated on industry innovations, regulations etc

Requirements

• Level 8 degree in Quantity Surveying
• Minimum 3 years relevant Irish experience ideally with a main contractor
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook. Experience in Buildsoft / Cubit / Bluebeam preferred
• Strong communication skills (both written and oral) with an ability to build productive working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail and excellent measurement knowledge
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritising and managing multiple tasks simultaneously while working to tight deadlines, managing time effectively
• Ability to take initiative and work both individually and as a strong team player

Salary

• Salary circa €65k - €75k DOE
