Quantity Surveyor

Exciting opportunity for a young and ambitious quantity surveyor to join a growing Tier 1 fit-out and joinery contractor based in London and Suffolk. You will be reporting into the managing surveyor and joining an established team of experts in the field. The majority of time will be spent on site with occasional trips to their Bildeston office.

Responsibilities for a Quantity Surveyor:

• Responsible for the tendering, surveying and financially managing all contracts/jobs through to settling the final accounts.
• Assist the Project Manager on their projects to ensure the delivery of at least the forecasted financial return at its inception, to enable the business to reach it targets.
• Procurement across all sub-contracting accounts.
• Pricing, and managing change and variations.

Requirements for a Quantity Surveyor:

• Quantity surveying degree qualified.
• Highly motivated
• Good time management and time keeping
• Ability to prioritise workload and deal with busy deadlines
