Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday (14:00 - 22:00)
Salary: Up to £20.53 per hour (approx £40k per annum) inclusive of shift allowance, dependent on experience.

About the roleYou will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our world class products. You'll work with state of the art Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and advanced metrology software to guarantee the highest standards of precision in our manufacturing processes.
What you'll be doing- Independently complete first off inspections and ISR reports.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and 3D CAD models using GD&T principles.
- Operate machinery using CMM software.
- Measure cast/machined parts with laser and CT scanning tools (Zeiss Inspect / GOM, Volume Graphics).
- Use your knowledge to develop and upskill other team members.
- Review and monitor measurement processes to increase productivity and efficiency.
- Ensure equipment is calibrated, maintained and used in accordance with procedures and traceability requirements.
- Compile corrective action reports for non conforming products and liaise with production staff to correct out of spec features.
- Apply metrology techniques to obtain verifiable results following specified procedures.
You'll have existing experience as a Quality Inspector / Metrology Technician within a manufacturing/production environment. It would be great if you also have:
- Good working knowledge of CMM software (PC DMIS 2020+, Zeiss Calypso, Mitutoyo MCOSMOS, Renishaw Modus, etc.).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and 3D CAD models with a strong understanding of GD&T.
- Understanding of inspection of cast/machined parts using a wide range of measurement techniques.
- Strong logical and problem solving abilities.
- Ability to travel to site.
