WF Tech are recruiting on behalf of a well-established precision engineering manufacturer based in Hayes who are looking to add an experienced Quality Inspector to their growing team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in precision engineering and component inspection to join a stable business offering long-term career development, including training on CMM equipment for the right candidate.

Working Hours

Monday - Thursday: 07:30 - 16:00
Friday: 07:30 - 15:00

The Role

As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring precision-engineered components meet customer specifications and quality standards through accurate inspection and measurement techniques.

  • Conducting first-off and final inspection of precision-machined components
  • Inspecting parts against engineering drawings and specifications
  • Using a range of mechanical measuring equipment to verify dimensions and tolerances
  • Recording and maintaining accurate inspection documentation
  • Supporting quality investigations and continuous improvement activities
  • Assisting with the completion of First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) where required
  • Working closely with production and engineering teams to maintain quality standards

About You

To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience as a Quality Inspector within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
  • Experience carrying out first-off and final inspections
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards
  • Good understanding of precision measurement techniques
Desirable Skills
  • Experience completing FAIRs (First Article Inspection Reports)
  • Experience using CMM equipment
  • CMM experience is not essential, as full training can be provided for candidates who demonstrate strong performance and successfully complete their probation period.
