Job Description
Position

Quality Inspector - Ballymoney, reporting to the Business Improvement Manager. 39 hours per week.

Job Purpose

To ensure all processed materials meet required quality standards and customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out audits of processes and products to ensure compliance.
  • Work with the team to determine root cause of non conformances and support corrective/preventive actions.
  • Liaise with production to continuously improve quality standards within the factory.
  • Support production daily with any quality issues.
  • Audit completed assemblies for conformance to requirements.
  • Investigate and resolve issues.
  • Collect information and provide feedback.
  • Perform additional duties as reasonably required.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment covering fabrication and assembly.
  • Working knowledge of welding, hydraulics, and assembly.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control and problem solving techniques.
  • Excellent communication and assertiveness skills.
  • Ability to negotiate and influence at all levels.
  • Customer focus and action orientation.
  • Strong listening skills, perseverance, business acumen and integrity.
