Quality Engineer

Shorterm Group is currently looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to join an established engineering company based in South Oxfordshire.Key Skills:- A minimum of five years' recent experience as a Quality Engineer or in a similar quality-related role- Ability to train employees in quality-related subjects- Strong ability to interpret complex mechanical engineering drawings and determine appropriate measuring techniques- Good knowledge of CMM programming (PC-DMIS ideally)Responsibilities:- Liaising with customers and suppliers regarding quality-related issues- Training operators in all aspects of inspection techniques and equipment- Recommending and implementing improvements to inspection and quality processes and equipment where appropriate- Producing routine final inspection trend analysis and reports- Managing non-conformances and customer complaints using 8D and 5 Whys methodologiesJob Details:- Permanent position- Standard day shift hours- Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum- Immediate interviews and start dates availableIf you are interested, please apply with your latest CV and I will be in touch shortly.
