Quality Engineer

My client, an engineering company based in Pershore, is looking to recruit a Quality Engineer on a permanent basis.

The main function of the role includes developing cost-effective production methods to meet customer requirements while complying with relevant standards.

The main responsibilities associated with this role include:

1. Working as part of the Quality team to achieve department requirements
2. Creating the necessary documentation to reflect work structures
3. Working closely with Production and Estimating teams
4. Providing technical support to the production team
5. Managing the transfer of information to the production team
6. Evaluating build documents, identifying opportunities for improvements
7. Performing regular patrol inspections of manufacturing areas

As a suitable candidate, you will offer the following:

• Use of CMM/Multi-Axis measuring apparatus, e.g., FARO
• Creating FAI documentation
• Experience of using Lean Six Sigma
• Planning experience, NPI, and product lifecycle
• Working with guidelines such as EN15085-2, ISO3834, ISO14001, 45001
• Experience of Supply Chain Management
• Strong background in document and data control
• Experience of working closely with customers directly

The salary on offer is up to £32,000.

£30,000.00 - £32,000.00 per year
