The OpportunityWe have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Engineer 1 to join our team at Abbott's Diabetes Care site in Witney. In this role, you will support the monitoring and compliance of our Quality Management System (QMS) through the review, approval, and impact assessment of changes to documentation, processes, and systems. You will also play a key role in ensuring quality and compliance decisions are made throughout product development, validation, manufacturing, and testing.
ResponsibilitiesReview and approve changes to documentation, processes, and systems, ensuring compliance with QMS standards.
Support quality and compliance decisions during development, validation, processing, manufacturing, testing, and packaging.
Ensure accurate and timely completion of training records and adherence to quality standards.
Train team members on procedures, processes, and QMS requirements.
Project manage cross functional activities to agreed timelines using risk management tools to prioritize tasks.
Maintain strong relationships with R&D, Technical, Engineering, Operations, and Regulatory Affairs to achieve project goals.
Support audits, cross functional meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives for the QMS.
Promote health and safety within the working environment and identify opportunities for improvement.
Ensure all communication and behaviors align with the Abbott Code of Conduct.
Bachelor's degree in a scientific, engineering, or technical discipline
Prior experience in the development and/or manufacture of regulated products is desirable.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
