Our client in Buntingford manufactures and prepares high-quality products for delivery across the UK and internationally. They are recruiting an experienced hands-on Quality Control Inspector to join their busy production team.
The Quality Control Inspector will support the production and dispatch teams by ensuring products meet specifications, customer requirements and internal quality standards. Duties include carrying out inspections, recording results, supporting corrective actions and helping to drive right-first-time quality.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out visual and dimensional inspections of parts and components
- Use measuring equipment including rulers, calipers, gauges and templates
- Record results accurately and report any defects or non-conformances
- Follow work instructions and quality procedures at all times
- Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow health and safety guidelines
- Confident using measuring tools such as rulers, calipers, gauges or templates
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
- Comfortable with hands-on, manual work and repetitive tasks
- Strong attention to detail and basic numeracy
- Previous quality control or manufacturing experience is beneficial but not essential
