In this key role, you'll be responsible for ensuring that every product we produce meets the highest standards-before it reaches our customers. From inspecting raw materials to overseeing loading operations, you'll play a crucial part in delivering top notch products and maintaining smooth, efficient processes on the ground.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Handling with Care: Safely load and unload containers and curtain siders using a forklift truck-keeping things moving smoothly and safely.
  • Split Load Sorting: You'll be the go to person for sorting and examining split loads, ensuring everything is in order and documenting your findings with precision.
  • Grading Materials: Assess materials on site-whether paper, cardboard, or plastic-to ensure only the best makes it through.
  • Spotting Issues Early: Quickly identify and remove non conforming materials, ensuring defects don't make it past you.
  • Safety First: Perform daily checks on machinery, plant, and equipment to ensure a safe working environment for all.
  • Export Ready: Inspect containers and create photographic evidence, ensuring everything is export ready and compliant with regulations.
  • Maintaining Order: Regularly check work areas, managing stock rotation and yard cleanliness to keep things running efficiently.
  • Team Player: Work closely with the weighbridge administrator to monitor stock levels and ensure smooth operations.
  • Deputy for Quality: Step in as a Quality Inspector when needed, supporting the team and stepping up to ensure continuous quality monitoring.
Why You'll Love This Role

This is a hands on, essential role where your attention to detail will make all the difference. You won't just be inspecting products-you'll be making sure they meet the highest standards, impacting the quality and reliability of the products that reach our customers. You'll be part of a supportive team, with opportunities to learn and grow as you take on new responsibilities.

If you're ready to make a real difference and take pride in your work, this is the job for you.
