Job Description
Join Our Client as a Quality Assurance Technologist in Sunderland!

Are you passionate about maintaining high standards of quality and hygiene in manufacturing? Our client, a reputable organisation, is hiring a dedicated Quality Assurance Technologist to support their commitment to delivering safe, hygienic, and top-quality products.

What you'll be doing:
  • Support the QHSE Manager in maintaining quality and hygiene management systems, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Conduct inspections, testing, and sampling throughout production to verify product quality and compliance.
  • Perform laboratory tests such as yield, bond strengths, and solvent retention.
  • Prepare samples and compile certificates of compliance and analysis reports.
  • Investigate customer complaints, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
  • Support internal and external audits, liaising with certification bodies.
  • Conduct hygiene inspections, glass audits, and maintain site cleanliness.
  • Lead training sessions on quality and hygiene policies, maintaining accurate records.
  • Assist with maintaining the quality management system, including traceability audits and supplier complaints.
  • Participate in initiatives to improve health, safety, waste reduction, and process efficiency.

  • Familiarity with health and safety standards and accreditation systems.
