HOURS: 06:00 - 14:00/14:00 -22:00
DAYS: Monday to Friday
Pro-Pak Foods is a major supplier of delicious ready meals to many of the UK's leading supermarkets and convenience stores. Our chefs, working in partnership with our customers, have created a menu of more than 200 quality meals.
Our Technical department is looking for a Quality Assurance Technician (QA) to join the team.
Our ideal candidate would have previous experience gained within a similar role within food manufacturing. However, for the right person full training can be given to those who enjoy working as part of a small team and working with other departments on site to ensure adherence to product safety, legality and quality.
Role responsibilities include:
Understanding and applying relevant standards and codes of practice so that our Customers, Pro - Pak Foods and Legal requirements are achieved and maintained.
Understanding and successfully implanting the quality management systems
Assist in the delivery of site standards for visits and audits either through direct input, indirect support and/ or organisation of QA Team activities
Manage QA requirements for product launches
You'll be the role model for delivering key behaviour's and values
Operating in a safe working manner and support the site/business with continuous improvements
Assist in communicating to suppliers on technical issues to achieve resolution
Understanding of HACCP and experience working in food manufacturing
You will provide practical support to drive and promote a Quality Assurance culture.
What we can offer you:
Salary £27,654.00 per annum
28 days holiday including bank holidays. An option to buy up to 5 extra days holiday
