Job Title: Quality Assurance Shift Operator
What you'll be doing- Conduct physical and mechanical tests on insulation products
- Perform in-process checks during manufacturing runs
- Ensure products meet specifications
- Identify deviations and non-conformities in product quality
- Communicate test results to production teams and supervisors
- Record and maintain accurate lab test data and reports
- Update quality control logs, and databases
- Assist in preparing audit documentation and compliance reports
- Maintain laboratory equipment (e.g., ovens, furnaces, conductivity meters)
- Ensure proper handling and storage of samples
- Support investigations into quality issues and root cause analysis
- Assist in trials for new products or process changes
- Recommend improvements to testing methods or procedures
- Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations
- 1-3 years in a laboratory or manufacturing QA or QC role (preferred)
- Experience in insulation
- Knowledge of material testing methods and standards
- Familiarity with lab instruments and calibration procedures
- Basic data analysis and reporting skills
- Understanding of ISO quality systems (e.g., ISO 9001)
