Quality Assurance Manager

My client is a well-known, respected company in the Iron and Castings industry, and we are offering a fantastic permanent opportunity for a Quality Assurance Manager based in Wednesbury, West Midlands.

Annual Salary: £45,000 to £48,000 DOE

Weekly Hours: Mon to Thurs - 8am to 4.45pm / Fri - 8am to 12.30pm

1. Understanding our customers' needs, business requirements, and aims is a key part of this process.
2. Have knowledge and understanding of the IATF16949:2016 standard and ensure the company continually meets this standard.
3. Develop project quality-related procedures, supplier audit/visit reports, and project quality reports.
4. Manage day-to-day administration of the project quality requirements.
5. Administer and compile the Quality Procedure Manual.
6. Ensure customer quality requirements are met and adhered to.
7. Liaise with customers on quality issues.
8. Compile the quality plan.
9. Prepare and coordinate quality projects, including administration.
10. Coordinate and manage quality control and inspection activities.
11. Resolve quality-related problems.
12. Inspect and compile material/supplier lists.
13. Conduct supplier audits and visits.
14. Manage PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) controls.
15. Review and develop the Q.A. system and manual continually.
