Job Description
We are supporting an innovative, fast-growing client in the high-performance mobility sector in their search for a Quality Manager.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role where the successful candidate will take end-to-end ownership of the quality function, develop and implement a Quality management systems, drive product and process quality, and lead key initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- QMS Development & Implementation: Lead the creation and roll-out of a scalable Quality Management System. Conduct a business landscape analysis and collaborate with senior leadership to define quality strategies and policies.
- Quality Process Ownership: Design and embed quality processes across the organization. Coach cross-functional teams to ensure process alignment and operational excellence.
- Audit & Reporting: Develop and execute a structured internal audit program. Identify quality risks, highlight improvement opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement through kaizen initiatives and structured problem-solving methodologies.
- Engineering Change Management: Take ownership of Engineering Change Requests (ECR), ensuring systematic implementation and closure in a timely manner.
Your Profile:
- Experience: 5+ years in a Quality Manager role within a technical or engineering-focused environment (automotive or regulated industries preferred).
- TQM Principles: Solid understanding of Total Quality Management, including customer focus, process orientation, leadership, and continuous improvement.
- Automotive Standards (Preferred): Familiarity with APQP, FMEA and control plans
- Technical Acumen: Ability to interpret technical drawings, evaluate manufacturing feasibility, and assess tolerances and material specifications.
- Problem Solving: Proven success in leading structured problem-solving efforts (8D, RCA, kaizen).
- Digital Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI. Strong general IT literacy.
- Language & Eligibility: Fluent in English; legal right to work in Belgium (no visa sponsorship provided).
