Quality Assurance Engineer I, Ops and Transportation

Quality Assurance Engineers at Amazon test applications and products at the user level and code level, both manually and with automated tools. Our QAEs are not pure black box testers; they understand software internals, debug problems using log files, and write automated tests with scripting tools and user-level automated tools. QAEs are excellent individual contributors capable of handling tasks from start to finish with minimal help. They are responsible for understanding the domain and product in detail, developing test strategies and plans, creating test cases, driving test case sign-off processes with stakeholders, contributing to code-level unit tests, executing tests, and reporting results.

Basic Qualifications

• 1+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience designing and planning test conditions, scripts, and data sets for adequate coverage and control
• Experience in manual testing
• Experience in automation testing
• Experience in UI and API automation testing (Selenium/SOAPUI)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in API & Mobile testing
• Experience in front-end testing
• Experience in test automation

Key Responsibilities
