Description

Quality & Risk Manager

Therapy Manager In-Charge III or equivalent grade (Grade VIII)

This is a key senior management post with responsibility and accountability for the operational provision of an effective, quality and risk management programme to meet the needs of the person served, staff and stakeholders and the strategic development of this plan to meet changing organisational needs. To promote best evidence risk management practices that foster a fair, open and learning culture and to implement systems and processes to ensure that the organisation learns from incidents and claims analysis.

Support Executive Management Team, Board of Directors, Medical Directors, Programme Managers, and Department Heads in establishing a proactive risk management culture, focussing on quality and safety within the rehabilitation programmes and departments.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A professional qualification in a health related area
  • Significant experience of working in the health services in a post that has involved patient safety improvement, risk management, quality management processes, incident management and investigations as relevant to this role.
  • Experience of leading change in a complex organisation
  • Experience of delivering training programmes
  • Experience of managing and working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders
  • Have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and senior management ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.

Salary will be commensurate with the background and experience of the successful candidate. Salary will be aligned to either Therapy Manager In-Charge III or equivalent grade (Grade VIII).

Remuneration is in accordance with the Salary scale approved by the Department of Health.
